Peter Beales Roses wins Gold at BBC Gardeners’ World Live 2025
Peter Beales Roses of Attleborough, Norfolk has won a Gold Medal at BBC Gardeners’ World Live 2025, adding to their earlier success at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year.
Designed by rosarians Mat Nicholas and Rosie Rosher, the display highlights the role of roses in wildlife-friendly gardens. Featuring a rich mix of species and heritage roses alongside pollinator-attracting companion plants, the exhibit demonstrates how beauty and biodiversity can thrive together.
Complete with bird feeders, insect habitats, and water sources, the garden promotes sustainable design while encouraging visitors to support birds, bees, and butterflies. Towering roses like Chevy Chase add vertical structure and natural shelter, reinforcing the ecological value.
“We’re thrilled to win Gold again,” said Nursery Manager Ian Limmer. “This display is about more than roses — it’s about inspiring people to garden for nature.”
The Peter Beales Roses display is located in the Floral Marquee at BBC Gardeners’ World Live 2025.
