Following the driest spring in over 100 years, hosepipe bans are now active in areas including North Yorkshire, York, East Riding of Yorkshire, and parts of Kent and Sussex. More regions may follow, with water companies closely monitoring the situation. Thames Water recently announced a temporary ban impacting Swindon, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Wiltshire from 22nd July.
