Organic growing continues to be an ever-popular trend and more recently gardeners have been looking to grow flowers from organic seed.

In response to this, Johnsons have added 15 new organic flower seeds to their range. Produced without the use of pesticides or other chemicals, these beautiful flowers are a great introduction for gardeners interested in organic home-gardening. Many varieties will also help attract bees and other pollinators to the garden.

Some highlights of the new Johnsons organic flower seed collection are: Calendula Touch of Red, an unusually striking, easy to grow ‘Pot Marigold’ and Cleome Pink Spider Flower - exotic looking with large, ornate flower heads.

Lupin (Annual) Dwarf Mixed has a sweet floral fragrance, is incredibly quick and easy to grow and is excellent as a border filler and Rudbeckia Chocolate Orange - a long flowering variety, great for cutting.

As well as varieties including Agastache (Anise Hyssop), Flax Blue – Linum and Silene Rose of Heaven, the range has RRPs from £1.90 to £2.85 and is available as part of the main Johnsons flower range or as a compact hot spot stand.

Johnsons also offers a range of 38 organic vegetable seeds, in popular categories, including new Organic Tomato Cerise - a highly productive, sweet tasting, red cherry tomato (RRP £2.40 for 50 seeds). The organic vegetable offering is also available as a separate hot spot stand, or as part of the main Johnsons vegetable collections.
