Registration opens for Scotland's Trade Fair Spring

In less than ten weeks, Scotland will welcome retailers from across the country to Glasgow as Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring opens its doors at the SEC from January 18–20, 2026. Buyers can now register for entry tickets and preview the breadth of creative gifts, homewares, textiles, accessories and crafts that will be showcased throughout the three-day event.
This year’s show offers far more than sourcing opportunities, with a comprehensive programme of talks and panel discussions designed to help retailers navigate the latest trends and industry challenges. Highlights include an expert panel unveiling 2026 retail trends, digital skills masterclasses on TikTok, social media selling and AI, and a practical session on visual merchandising led by specialist Arantxa Garcia.
Visitors can also look forward to a one-to-one interview with House of Bruar owner Patrick Birkbeck, who will share insights into building an award-winning retail destination. Scotland’s Town Partnership will lead a forward-looking panel on the future of high streets, featuring experts who have successfully revitalised town centres. Additional sessions cover trademark protection, the meaning of “Made in Scotland” for food and drink producers, traditional sales skills, and clarity on Extended Producer Responsibility and new packaging schemes.
The ever-popular Nessie’s Den returns at 1pm on Monday and Tuesday, offering a lively platform for Launch Gallery exhibitors to pitch new products to a panel of experienced retailers. Monday’s session features gift specialists Dawn Kane, Carol Macrae and Wendy Ross, while Tuesday will spotlight food and drink exhibitors, with both sessions hosted by Show Director Mark Saunders.
The co-located Speciality Food & Drink Show will also be strengthened this year with support from Scotland Food & Drink, bringing member producers and attracting key buyers seeking high-quality Scottish fare. Adding to the excitement, the Giftware Association will sponsor the Best Product Awards, judged by leading industry experts and culminating in an end-of-day ceremony celebrating the most innovative and commercial products on display.
With stands booking quickly and new exhibitors such as Coastal UK, Nemesis Now, Lume, Snug Aromatics, Ealain Publications, Formation Co. jewellery and Middleshade Perfume joining the line-up, the 2026 show promises exceptional variety. As retailer Helen Crawford of Old School Beauly notes, the event remains the essential showcase for Scottish goods. Show Director Mark Saunders echoes this, encouraging retailers to mark the dates firmly in their diary for a show that combines sourcing, learning and invaluable networking.
