Wanted 1-2 acres of Land to Let
Looking for 1-2 acres of enclosed land in and around the west side of Chesterfield, Matlock or Bakewell. This is to expand a small garden nursery business that is in its infancy and open it up to the public.
I wish to expand my small garden nursery business and open to the public, to meet customer demand.
I currently run the nursery from my small back garden, and operate solely at large plant shows and fairs, however, there has been much demand from my customers to be able to visit my nursery and purchase on a day to day basis which I cannot currently offer them due to where I am situated and being in a rented property.
I wish to build a large garden within the land, not only for customers to enjoy, but it will form the basis of my living stock plants where I will harvest seed and grow from cuttings. I currently grow 100% of my stock, and I am completely pesticide and chemical free, and wholly using peat free compost. I currently grow and sell ornamental perennials and annuals, as well as herbs.
In time I wish to expand to fruit and veg as well, and apply for organic certification. I also want to be able to host workshops for seed growing and propagation, as well as offer volunteer opportunities to horticultural students.
I am RHS Level 2 qualified in Practical Horticulture, and RHS Level 2 qualfiied in The Principles of Plant Growth and Development.
