Lazy Susan, the market-leading provider of maintenance-free metal garden furniture, is looking for a Freelance Sales Agent to spearhead our entry into the garden centre market.

Your Role:

As a Freelance Sales Agent, you will play a pivotal role in launching Lazy Susan into the garden centre market for the very first time. Your primary responsibility will be to approach and collaborate with garden centres across the region, showcasing the benefits and unique selling points of our exquisite garden furniture range. You'll have the freedom to plan and execute strategic sales initiatives, building strong relationships with potential retail partners and securing long-term agreements.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target key garden centres within the designated territory for business development.
  • Present the Lazy Susan brand and product range with professionalism and enthusiasm to potential clients.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with garden centres to establish strong partnerships.
  • Provide product training and support to retail staff to boost their confidence in selling Lazy Susan furniture.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to enhance our market position.
  • Regularly report sales progress, market feedback, and opportunities to the Lazy Susan team.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successful sales experience, ideally within the retail sector.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working autonomously.
  • Knowledge and passion for outdoor furniture and the gardening industry is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated region to meet with potential clients.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.
