These varieties and more from Burpee, will be tripping the Chelsea light fantastic on the South West in Bloom and Burpee Europe garden named 'Learning to Grow, Gather and Show'.

As a reminder please see the details of our new varieties which will be...let's face it...really showing off this year!

Sunflower 'Desire Red'
A truly stunning breakthrough in sunflower breeding, this is the first compact red sunflower for the garden and patio pots. Plants flower for a period of 6-8 weeks and have proven performance from Sweden to Southern Italy in Fleuroselect Trials. 'Desire Red' makes a very attractive combination with sunflowers 'Sunray' or 'Tiger Eye' and add a deep red to the sunflower palette.

Tomato 'Black Moon'
This visual and tasty treat of a tomato has it all!  It has a wonderfully complex flavour that even beat the legendary ‘Sungold’ during taste tests. The taste is sweet with a pleasant light acid tang with undertones of almond/praline. It’s actually really got a slight toffee flavour!  Fruits have a firm and juicy texture but dripless interiors.  And the colour ...WOW...black skin becomes lighter as it ripens to orange red.

Tomato 'Bliss'
A joy to behold and to eat! These almond-shaped, mirthful and lightly sweet 30 gram tomatoes ripen to a dazzling yellow with unique green stripes. Snackable fruits are irresistible fresh off the vine. Heavy yielding plants offer a happy windfall of tomatoes from the height of summer until frost. Loads of bold colour for party trays and salads.
