Blue Diamond is once again aiming for Gold
Blue Diamond Garden Centres — Gold Medal winners at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 — are back and aiming high once again at this year’s Show!
- Blue Diamond Garden Centres were delighted to have been awarded their first Gold Medal Win at RHS Chelsea Flower Show last year, along with an award for ‘Tree of the Show’ for the exceptional ‘Acer palmatum ‘Shishigashira’!
- This year Blue Diamond Garden Centres are back and aiming for Gold once again with their ambitious garden exhibit;- one that will showcase the breadth, quality and relevance of plants grown directly on Blue Diamond’s nurseries.
- It is the only fully immersive, walk-through garden exhibit in the Great Pavilion.
- Located in a central position, near to the Monument, Blue Diamond’s garden exhibit is also one of the largest in the Great Pavilion at 240 square metres and will include more than 35 metres of walk-through pathways for visitors to explore, which will take visitors through carefully curated planting zones.
- It is the only garden exhibit at the Show to feature the newly released Prunus Sumaura Fugenzo ‘Japanese Lantern’™, shortlisted for ‘The Chelsea Plant of the Year Awards’, along with Hydrangea Velvet Night® ‘Red Lace’, also short-listed.
- The garden exhibit will also showcase 3 new and exclusive roses, bred by Rosen Tantau, one to be launched in partnership with Diddly Squat Farm and another for the charity Hospice UK.
Key Themes within the Exhibit
Visitors can also expect to see an inspiring yet practical garden exhibit that brings together achievable gardening ideas and innovative design with all the plants in the garden having been grown on Blue Diamond’s UK nurseries, the majority of which are available to buy in Blue Diamond Garden Centres.
Exploring key themes such as drought-tolerant planting, growing food in small spaces, and sustainable gardening practices, the space will unfold across a series of thoughtfully curated zones including ‘Thrive Not Just Survive’ drought-tolerant planting in the Dry Garden, leading into a glass Plant House showcasing green walls of Tropical Houseplants, then into the Exotic Shade-Loving plants, Vertical Edible Walls, and the Tapestry Garden, a contemporary take on a Cottage Garden style of planting.
Enhancing the sense of theatre and drama, a striking water feature will serve as a showstopping centrepiece, delivering a truly immersive and memorable sensory experience.
