spoga+gafa in Cologne in September 2020 has been suspended and moved to new permanent time of year for 2021.
This year’s cancellation reflects the new Covid-19 infections in Germany and the uncertain travel situation around the world. This led a large majority of exhibitors and trade visitors to decide not to attend spoga+gafa after all.
Permanent change to late spring
Koelnmesse is taking this opportunity, after consultation with the trade, to permanently move the date of spoga+gafa to the end of May, beginning of June. In future, this means that the largest garden lifestyle trade fair in the world will be held at a time more convenient for large segments of the industry to place orders with their manufacturers.
The next spoga+gafa in Cologne will be held from 30 May to 1 June 2021.
Koelnmesse COO Oliver Frese said, “The focus here is on the ordering behaviour seen in many parts of the industry, which has evolved over the years. In order to do an even more effective job of taking this into account, starting next year, spoga+gafa will be held permanently at the end of May or the beginning of June.”
