PATS 2026 will feature an expanded New Product Awards programme alongside a new gala awards dinner when the show returns to the NEC Birmingham from 27–29 September.
Sponsored by PBWnews, the 2026 awards will include 16 honours in total, covering nine pet product categories and three aquatic product categories judged from entries to the New Product Showcase.
Winners will be announced during a special gala dinner in the NEC’s Concourse Suite, a new addition designed to celebrate innovation and industry achievement.
Alongside the product awards, the evening will also feature three UK Retailer Awards, an International Retailer Award and a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Awards will be judged by a panel of retail professionals and independent retailers to ensure recognition is driven by those working directly within the industry.
Organiser Raccoon Media Group has partnered with Profile Exhibitions & Events to manage the awards and dinner.
The company is led by former PATS show director Gordon Thomas, alongside industry professionals Jo Scotting and Jo Bladon.
Event organisers say the enhanced awards programme reflects the continued growth of the exhibition.
The 2026 show is expected to feature more than 400 exhibitors and attract over 8,000 visitors, making it the largest event in PATS history.
