BPF opportunity as weather delays plant ordering

With garden centres showing some reluctance to take stock with the dramatic weather forecasts, Thursday’s British Plant Fair at Stoneleigh could not be timed better to inspect home grown stock.

A number of garden centres have delayed their spring orders, waiting to see what the Beast from the East brings.

David Chilvers from The Bransford Webbs Plant Company says, “Looking around garden centres over the past couple of weeks there are still some empty benches. This makes it even more important for retailers to view and select the right stock for their plant areas and by visiting the fair they can choose from the best of British growers.”

There will be 22 exhibitors showing their spring stock at the British Plant Fair at Stoneleigh, Kenilworth, CV8 2LG on Thursday 1st of March. One visit will save multiple nursery visits to find the best looking plants.

Visit www.britishplantfair.co.uk to see the exhibitors and register.
