BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair returns to Beaulieu

Company: BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair

The BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair returns to Beaulieu in the New Forest from 1–3 May, promising a packed programme of gardening inspiration, plants, shopping, food and live entertainment.

Tickets provide full access to Beaulieu’s grounds and attractions, including the National Motor Museum, Palace House, the medieval abbey and the Secret Army Exhibition.

Headline sponsor Hillier Nurseries will present a large showcase featuring four themed garden spaces: a Family Garden, Potted Garden, Cottage Garden and Urban Jungle Garden, alongside plant advice, talks and shopping.

A special Beautiful Border will be co-created by De-Graft Mensah and gardener Lucy Chamberlain, inspired by the Make a Metre Matter campaign encouraging gardeners to transform small spaces to support wildlife and biodiversity.

Talks and demonstrations will feature Adam Frost, Frances Tophill, Ashley Edwards and Sue Kent, hosted by David Hurrion and the BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine team.

Visitors can also enjoy food and drink tastings hosted by broadcaster Andy Clarke, alongside artisan producers and street food at the Good Food Market.

Plants remain the central focus of the fair, with showcase gardens, creative borders, college gardens and more than 25 specialist nurseries taking part.

New features for 2026 include landscaping clinics from the Association of Professional Landscapers and demonstrations from Beth Chatto’s Plants & Gardens on climate-tolerant planting.

Alongside workshops, family activities and garden tours, the event offers a spring day out combining gardening ideas, entertainment and access to one of Hampshire’s most popular heritage attractions.
