The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) has announced key programme highlights for Horticulture, The Conference, taking place at London’s Barbican Centre on Thursday 24 September 2026.

The flagship industry event will bring together environmental horticulture businesses, industry experts and political voices to explore the key challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.

Highlights include the launch of the HTA’s new report, The Value of Green Spaces, examining the economic, social and environmental importance of private and public green spaces.

The programme will also explore emerging trends, climate resilience and the impact of changing weather patterns on the sector. Dr Anthony Klotz, Professor of Organisational Behaviour at UCL School of Management, will discuss the changing world of work, employee expectations and workplace culture, followed by a panel discussion.

A political update session will feature leading political figures, including Conservative MP Robbie Moore, while award-winning speaker Ben Hanlin will close the daytime programme with a keynote on communication, culture and business performance.

Following the conference, delegates can attend a celebratory dinner hosted by comedian and broadcaster Ed Byrne, featuring the prestigious HTA Grower of the Year Awards and the presentation of the Pearson Memorial Medal.

Horticulture, The Conference is held in partnership with Glee and is supported by sponsors including DNA Payments, Dura-ID, Evergreen, Growmoor, The Horti House and Lloyds Card Processing.

Further programme details will be announced in the coming weeks.
