Dobbies to speak at BHETA
BHETA is to hold another of its popular retailer networking webinars, this time with the garden centre chain, Dobbies. The event will take place on Tuesday 5th April at 11 am and will provide delegates with an update on Dobbies’ business in general and its business strategy going forward.
The speakers will be Graeme Jenkins, CEO of Dobbies Garden Centres, and Debbie Harding, CFO, who talk for approximately 20-30 minutes and then answer questions from the audience. Subjects matter will include:
- The Dobbies story

- new ownership & Wyevale purchases
- store refurbishment programme
- impact of COVID
- frustrations with ERP and payment issues
- Future vision for the business

- What Dobbies wants from suppliers
Dobbies Garden Centres is now the largest garden centre operator in the UK with 74 stores nationwide. The company is privately owned and employs around 4000 people.
