BOA Technical Conference returns February 2026

The BOA Technical Conference 2026 will take place on Wednesday 4 February at the NFU Conference Centre, Stoneleigh, bringing together growers, innovators and industry experts from across the UK’s ornamental horticulture sector. Recognised as a key date in the industry calendar, the event offers a vital forum for knowledge-sharing, collaboration and forward planning.
This year’s programme will address many of the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing the sector. Topics include biologicals and plant health, energy efficiency and sustainability, crop protection and regulatory developments, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and the latest advances in growing media.
Delegates will also hear insights from the YPHA Launch Success Accelerator Programme, highlighting emerging talent and innovation within horticulture. These sessions aim to provide practical takeaways to help businesses adapt and thrive in a changing market.
New for 2026 is a dedicated HortWeek bonus session, taking place immediately after the main conference. This session will focus on peat-free growing, examining legislation, standards, costs, market demand and the technical challenges associated with the transition.
The conference is preceded by the BOA Pre-Conference Dinner on Tuesday 3 February at Woodland Grange Hotel, Leamington Spa. The evening will include the presentation of the BOA’s annual awards, celebrating excellence, innovation and emerging talent across the industry.
With strong speaker content, valuable networking opportunities and the support of key sponsors, the BOA Technical Conference 2026 promises to deliver essential insight and inspiration for the year ahead.
