New Leaf Plants 

With Mollie Higginson starting maternity leave, New Leaf welcomed Adrian Marskell, former MD of Bransford Webb, to the company to strengthen their sales team. Adrian is a well-known face in the trade and is “out on the road” to build new relationships and help customers make the most of New Leaf’s expanded range.

Creation Horticulture

Ian Riggs and James Romaine have joined the Creation Horticulture team team as Regional Sales Managers for the South and East Midlands respectively.  Wholesaler, Creation Horticulture brings products, ranges and service to UK Horticulture sector, servicing professional growing, landscaping and retail businesses

Emerald Eternal Green

Kevin Golding-Walker, ex APAC, joins Emerald Eternal Green BV, specialists in artificial flowers and plants as Head of Sales for UK & Ireland, focusing on partnerships with garden centres, florist wholesalers national accounts and retailers.  Kevin is keen to build a bigger share of the UK market.

British Garden Centres

Claire Algar posted on LinkedIn that she has started a new position as Deputy Manager at Tansley Barn Garden Centre, near Matlock, Derbyshire.

Hornby George PR

Hornby George PR has appointed leading horticultural voice Ross Dyke as its new in-house horticultural expert, a strategic move that significantly strengthens the agency’s specialist offer to clients across the garden and horticulture sectors.

Mark Wootton

Formerly Commercial Director of Notcutts, Mark Wootton has since led a number of businesses to profitable growth and helped other transition to multi-platform businesses. On his LinkedIn post he says, “I am now exploring new opportunities as a CEO or Commercial Director — interim or permanent — within a consumer-facing business.”

David Abbott: Appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Klondyke Group, effective April 2026. He succeeds David Yardley, who retired in March after a 44-year career.

Mark Pitman: Joined the Garden Centre Association (GCA) as its new Garden Centre Inspector in March 2026.  Former MD of Wildlife World and a horticultural business consultant with over 40 years of experience, he was selected from a record-breaking number of applicants.

Matthew Mein: Event Director for Glee has added the Autumn Fair to his portfolio to improve strategic coordination between the trade events.

Sarah Stewart: Starting a new position as Area Sales Executive at Norfolk Leisure Lifestyle Limited.
