Phil Burgoyne joins Garland Products/Worth Gardening

Company: Garland/Worth Gardening
  • Phil Burgoyne, Garland/Worth Gardening’s new south east and key accounts manager.

Garland Products/Worth Gardening is delighted to welcome Phil Burgoyne to the management team as its new south east and key accounts manager.  He will be working alongside sales director Mark Dedman to help to continue to build on the rapid expansion experienced by the company.  Phil brings with him a wealth of knowledge having been in the trade for 35 years.  He has held a number of top management positions within garden centres over the years, namely at Coolings, Snowhill Garden Centre, Reigate Garden Centre and for the last two years with Knights Garden Centres.

Commenting on the appointment, Mark Dedman said: “Phil has a very broad and in-depth product knowledge and also understands the needs of today’s garden centres.  We are sure that he will help us to continue our drive forward beyond what has already been an impressive growth over the past four years.  I am looking forward to working with Phil again, as we worked together at Snowhill Garden Centre and I know he has a great work ethic akin to that of our own business and that he will be a great asset to our team”.

Garland/Worth Gardening has launched over 100 new products for the 2017 season, one of the largest new product launches since the inception of the Worth Gardening brand in 2012.  In addition, the company’s continuing investment in infrastructure and products has kept Garland at the forefront and has helped the company grow beyond all expectations.  The company opened a new distribution warehouse in February 2015, resulting in an increased capacity of over 70 per cent more pallet space.  This has provided greater stock holding and enabled despatch of most orders on the same day of receipt or no later than the next day.

The Garland Products Group specialises in the manufacture of plastic injection moulded products, and supplies a wide range of products for keen and hobby gardeners.
