Neville Prest, Managing Director, to leave Garden & Leisure Group

Following the recent acquisition of the Garden & Leisure Group, The Garden Centre Group announces that Neville Prest, Managing Director of the Garden & Leisure Group, has decided to leave the company.

Dave Murray, Finance Director of the Garden & Leisure Group, will assume the role of Acting Managing Director. Following the decision of Carol Paris, Operations Director, to move to the Horticultural Trade Association on a full-time basis, John Moseley, Garden & Leisure Group’s Marketing Director, will assume responsibility for the Buying team in addition to his Marketing responsibilities.

Kevin Bradshaw, CEO of The Garden Centre Group, said: "The leadership team at The Garden Centre Group would like to thank Neville for his significant contribution to the Garden & Leisure Group over the last fifteen years. Under Neville’s leadership, the business has grown from a single site at Cadbury into a chain of seven high-quality, destination garden centres – which now sit proudly within The Garden Centre Group portfolio. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours."

Neville Prest said: "I would like to thank everyone at the Garden & Leisure Group for their unceasing hard work and loyalty over the last fifteen years.
