Fiskars, leading global supplier of consumer products for the home, garden and outdoors, has today appointed John Grayson as new Managing Director for Fiskars UK. John replaces current Managing Director Andrew Smith, who is leaving the company for personal reasons and to focus on new challenges.
John comes with extensive experience from international consumer goods companies such as Newell Rubbermaid and Jordan (Hamilton Acorn), where he was both Vice President and Managing Director for the UK.
“Having John Grayson on board is an exciting step for Fiskars. The UK is one of our key markets and John brings international business experience and a solid understanding of the trade environment to a brand portfolio that includes Fiskars, Kitchen Devils and Sankey. John has extensive experience in consumer goods and a clear understanding of the challenges our customers face, this aligns perfectly with Fiskars' commitment to be the No 1 brand,” says Thomas Enckell, President of Fiskars Garden EMEA Business Area.
In the last 12 months Fiskars has made a large investment in UK hand tools advertising and promotion with the Fiskars Weed Puller and a significant investment in a state of the art SAP order processing and stock management system.
“Fiskars is a hugely successful global company and their ongoing commitment to investment in the UK makes this a fantastic time to join. I look forward to working with the team to take Fiskars, Kitchen Devils and Sankey to the next level,” says John Grayson.
