iPad Mini winner announced

Company: The Christmas Cabin

Steve Parry, Aylett’s Hardware Buyer, won the iPad Mini after being entered in a prize draw in connection with The Christmas Cabin’s Early Bird Offer that ran until March 2013.

Steve said: “I am delighted to have won, I thought Christmas must have come early this year."

The Christmas Cabin’s Commercial Manager Jane Reid presented Steve with the prize at Aylett Nurseries garden centre in St Albans Hertfordshire.

Sarah Flamson, Buying Director of The Christmas Cabin, explained: “We’d like to congratulate Steve on winning the prize. Everyone who sent their email address to us during the Early Bird Offer period, whether they bought anything or not, was entered into our prize draw. The winner was then randomly picked from the names after the closing date of the offer.”

The Christmas Cabin offers a wide range of innovative products and is the sole importer of Cinco, the world’s favourite tree stand. It is also importer and distributor of many other leading ranges; including Christmas Innovations, Krinner and Easyfix as well as being a designer of a number of exclusive lines.

Steve Parry explained: “Aylett’s offer a superb range of fresh Christmas trees that include the traditional tree Picea Abies and the popular Abies Nordmanniana, which has the characteristic of holding on to its needles, making it a popular choice with the ladies.”

“We use the decorative Easy Fix tree stands as they have a central pin which once inserted into a pre drilled tree trunk allows it to stand straight.”

Aylett Nurseries too are sponsoring a competition this year with St Albans City & District Council and are calling on enthusiastic green-fingered gardeners, schools, community groups, local parishes and businesses to enter this years District in Bloom 2013 Competition.

Steve said; “We are hoping to inspire more people to enter as the competition was a huge success in 2012 and this year we want to make the district the best in the UK.”
