Introducing our new technical advisor
Its nice to know that Suttons Seeds not only inspire new staff to join their company from as far afield as Lithuania and Seville, but also from their own region of Devon. Christine Loader, the new Suttons Technical Advisor, has wanted to work for Suttons ever since attending an open day at their trial grounds. So impressed by the extensive trials of flowers, vegetables and unusual plants and the knowledge of the staff, Christine jumped at the chance of applying when the job came up as a technical advisor.
Christine says 'I knew that this was for me as soon as I saw the job advertised. I have arrived at Suttons via a variety of roles in business and horticulture. My love and passion for plants has come from travelling and living all over the world.
I have now been at Suttons for just over a month and have settled in well and enjoy rising to the challenge of dealing with the questions and demands of the gardening public. I enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life through our mutual love of plants and gardening.
Since I have been here I have been impressed by the level of assistance and guidance given by staff and the friendly yet professional atmosphere, with everyone working towards a common goal.'
