This month (October), eight employees at Haskins Garden Centre in West End, Southampton passed their Institute of Management Level 4 awards.
Nine new recruits are also working towards their Level 2 qualification and to further demonstrate its commitment to training and development, Haskins Garden Centre is working to achieve the Investor in People’s gold award this year.
Kathryn Crouch, indoor team leader at Haskins Garden Centre in West End, said, “I’m so glad I pushed myself to achieve this qualification. I’ve enjoyed learning about the different requirements of the business and the teams within it.”
Emma Farley, HR manager at Haskins Garden Centre, said: “Progressing our staff is vitally important to us. Seeing them grow and develop their confidence and skills is fantastic and the benefits to the business are substantial. To complete the course to the standard they did while continuing to excel in their day job is commendable and I would like to congratulate each of them.”
