BHETA restructures senior team ahead of 2026

BHETA’s Chief Operating Officer, Will Jones, will step back from the day-to-day running of the association in January 2026 to focus on the Exclusively Show as Exhibition Director. A new position of General Manager has also been created, to be filled by current Marketing Director, Stephen Richardson. Both roles will report directly to Andrew Weiss, BHETA’s Executive Chair.
As Exhibition Director, Will Jones will lead the development of Exclusively, ensuring it retains its market-leading status. His focus will be on expanding show content and initiatives, supported by the sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams, and through close collaboration with the venue’s senior management.
The new General Manager role will oversee BHETA’s wider strategy across all market sectors while managing day-to-day operations and membership activity. With support from Sector Managers and the in-house team, Stephen Richardson will spearhead new and existing initiatives across the home and garden marketplace, while enhancing member engagement and representation.
Andrew Weiss, BHETA’s Executive Chairman, said: “I am delighted to announce this new structure, which will help us continue to meet the requirements of today’s rapidly changing market. It is also excellent news that we will continue to have Will as part of the team. His industry knowledge and experience will be invaluable in supporting BHETA’s drive forward into a new era. I am also confident that under Stephen’s leadership, we will continue to deliver added value for all stakeholders.”
