The UK’s ornamental horticulture sector will reunite on Wednesday 4 February 2026 at the NFU Conference Centre, Stoneleigh, for the BOA Technical Conference – the industry’s leading event for growers, innovators and experts. This year’s programme will cover a wide range of key issues, including biological controls, cybersecurity, CRD and the regulatory outlook, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), insights from the YPHA Launch Success Accelerator, and the latest advances in growing media. Confirmed speakers include Dr Minshad Ansari (Bionema Group), Eirinn Rusbridge (NFU Energy), Richard Hopkins (West Sussex Growers’ Association), Joanna McTigue (HCP), Peter Marshall (Volta Exo Systems), and Matthias Redlefsen (Benary), with more to be announced.
In addition to the main conference, the BOA will host its Pre-Conference Dinner on Tuesday 3 February 2026 at Woodland Grange Hotel, Leamington Spa. The evening will feature the presentation of the BOA’s prestigious annual awards, including the Trumpet Blowers Award, Alan Hendy Award, Pot Plant Growers Award, Bright Spark Award, and Chair’s Choice Award, proudly sponsored by HortWeek. A brand-new industry award, supported by MorePeople, will also be introduced, with an after-dinner address delivered by Guy Moreton, Chairman & Founder of MorePeople.
