Company: GCA

The Garden Centre Association has confirmed that its 2027 annual conference will take place in Stratford-upon-Avon, with delegates set to gather at the Crowne Plaza from January 24–27, 2027.

Organised by GCA Chairman Ben Harrison of Haskins Garden Centres alongside CEO Peter Burks, the event follows a highly successful 2026 conference that attracted strong attendance and positive feedback from more than 400 delegates.

The programme is designed to bring together garden centre professionals from across the UK for networking, learning and sector insight, with a focus on motivation, performance and operational excellence.

Harrison said the 2027 conference will build on recent success, highlighting speaker quality, networking opportunities and the positive atmosphere that has become a hallmark of the event.

He added that delegates consistently reported leaving the conference energised and better prepared for the year ahead, reinforcing its value as a key industry gathering.

Garden Centre Association, which represents more than 200 garden centres nationwide, continues to play a central role in raising standards across retail operations, plant quality and customer service.

CEO Peter Burks said preparations are already underway, with a speaker programme and ticket release details due to be announced from June, alongside an early bird booking incentive.

The 2027 conference will also mark an important milestone year for the association, which celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2026.

Further updates, including booking information and keynote speakers, will be shared in the coming months as anticipation builds for the event.
