It's Gold for Crocus and Hillier
The garden industry can rejoice in gold medals for Crocus, who constructed the Telegraph’s Best Show Garden and the adjacent Laurent-Perrier garden; David Domoney for his display of underwater plants and piranha fish; Hillier Nurseries, the centre piece of the Great Pavilion; Peter Beales Roses; Taylor’s display of Walkers Bulbs, and Winchester Growers, who won the President’s Award in the Great Pavilion for their dahlias.
Other notable award winners include the show’s chief sponsors, Marshalls; the QVC garden designed by Adam Frost; David Austin Roses; Capel Manor; Scotsdale’s Garden Design Centre and Chris Beardshaw’s Mentoring Scholarship.
There was no award for James May’s novel garden made entirely from plasticine, however it received a special letter!
