HTA launches £1,500 Bursary for Young Grower of the Year Winner

The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) has introduced a new £1,500 bursary to celebrate and support emerging talent through the Young Grower Under 35 award, part of the HTA Grower of the Year Awards 2025.
Open to professionals under 35 employed by an HTA full member business, the bursary is aimed at those working in ornamental plant production. It can be used towards the Pro Managers Mastercourse by Jungle Talks or other professional development opportunities. The winner may also represent the UK at the AIPH International Young Grower of the Year competition.
HTA Horticulture Manager Pippa Greenwood said:
"This bursary promotes and supports the fantastic younger talent coming through our industry."
Past winner Henil Vashi from Robin Tacchi Plants highlighted the career impact:
"It opened so many doors and gave me the chance to represent the UK internationally – something I never imagined."
Businesses also benefit, with Robin Tacchi Plants gaining industry recognition for their work in sustainability and training.
