Garden Industry Manufacturers’ Association (GIMA) has confirmed an expanded speaker line-up for its 2026 Day Conference and Annual General Meeting, taking place on 26 March at Stratford Manor Hotel.

The event will bring together representatives from across the garden retail supply chain to explore the theme “The Future of the Supply Chain for Garden Products.”

Set against a backdrop of consolidation in retail distribution channels and increasing commercial pressures, the conference will provide a platform for discussion on the evolving role of suppliers, wholesalers and logistics providers.

Among the confirmed speakers is Mark Farnsworth from Yorkshire Garden Centres, who will offer insight into how supply chain decisions are being shaped at garden centre level.

Retail analyst Steve Collinge will also contribute, leading a session examining the growing influence of online marketplaces within the sector.

Additional perspectives will come from companies including Stax Trade Centres, Toolbank and Rhenus Logistics, representing wholesale, distribution and logistics viewpoints.

The programme will feature a series of interactive panel discussions exploring topics such as the future structure of supplier businesses and opportunities for greater collaboration across the supply chain.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to network with fellow members and industry specialists throughout the day.

The conference will open with the GIMA Annual General Meeting, where members will receive updates on the organisation’s work and confirm new council members. 🌿
