Fraudulent Refunds
Just to let everyone know that it has come to my notice that there is a man going around the Southeast trying to get a refund for 2 5lt bottles of Roundup.
The man concerned has no receipt/proof of purchase, gives an address that is not real and a phone number that is unobtainable.
The 2 bottles of Roundup are either stolen - taken from your shelves before he gets to the tills or are just full of water. The seals are still intact but with a lot of care they can be opened with breaking the seal.
He has a east European look and has a London accent. Although he didn't get away with it with me at my centre I have heard he has been 'successful' elsewhere.
Please be aware of this scam and tell your till staff to be on the look out.
