Entries open for GCA’s 2026 Worrall Cup Competition

Entries are now open for the Garden Centre Association’s (GCA) annual Worrall Cup, with member garden centres invited to submit their most successful and creative marketing campaigns for the 2026 award. The competition, a long-standing highlight of the GCA calendar, recognises outstanding marketing achievement across the industry.

The winning garden centre will be presented with the prestigious Worrall Cup during the GCA’s 60th anniversary Annual Conference, taking place in January 2026. The award celebrates originality, flair and the commercial impact of marketing activity, offering members a chance to gain sector-wide recognition for their achievements over the past year.

GCA Chief Executive Peter Burks said the competition continues to shine a spotlight on the high level of marketing expertise within the membership. He commented: “Our member garden centres showcase fantastic marketing creativity all year round and the annual Worrall Cup celebrates the very best of that flair. This award is a chance for our members to gain recognition for both originality and commercial success.”

Entries must be submitted by Friday, January 9, 2026, and will be reviewed by an independent panel of marketing specialists. Judged entirely separately from the annual inspection process, the competition ensures a level playing field for all participants. The judging panel will meet in January to select the overall winner.
