Squire’s welcomes a fourth family member into the garden centre group
Ben Baily has been appointed assistant centre manager at Squire’s Milford, adding a 2nd member of the Squire family's fourth generation to the retailer’s management team.
Before joining the business, he has been working at Webbs Garden Centres to build his garden centre experience.
Baily is the son of chairman Sarah Squire and the grandson of Colin Squire OBE, chairman emeritus. Ben’s sister, Felicia Baily, already works in the group’s sustainability and health & safety team.
Ben said, "I’m absolutely delighted to be joining the family business, especially in this very special year as Squire’s celebrates its 90th anniversary.
“It is great to join the Milford centre team… There’s a fantastic team at the centre, with many knowledgeable colleagues on hand to advise customers... I am looking forward to playing my part and making a difference.”
Sarah Squire, added, “It’s wonderful to welcome Ben to the business and to have him working alongside me, his grandfather Colin, our Chairman Emeritus, and his sister Felicia. It’s a real delight to see everyone working together and I consider it a tremendous privilege to work alongside both the older and the younger generations of our family. I’m very much looking forward to supporting Ben on his horticultural journey.”
