Bents warms up for 90th celebrations with Christmas Wonderland
Bents Garden & Home officially launched its Christmas 2026 season on 7 October, with the Mayor of Warrington, Councillor Sagheer Zaman, joining Matthew Bent and customers to unveil the centre’s festive displays and experiences.
Created by Bents’ in-house team after months of planning, the Christmas wonderland combines imaginative displays, seasonal inspiration and surprises for visitors.
The opening is especially significant as Bents prepares to celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2027. Matthew Bent praised the creativity, passion and care of the team, highlighting the work involved in bringing the festive experience to life.
Further attractions include The Magic Lamp in the Hidden Garden, Bents’ second winter light trail, launching on 20 November. The Aladdin-inspired experience will feature dazzling lights, theatrical scenes, projections and colourful characters. The Winter Food Market is also open, offering festive favourites.
A programme of events will run throughout November and December, including Father Christmas’ Arrival Parade on 4 November, festive workshops and family activities. Further information is available at bents.co.uk.
