Bents donates £34,546 to Warrington Youth Zone

Bents Garden & Home has donated £34,546.55 to Warrington Youth Zone after a year of fundraising supported by customers and colleagues.

Representatives from the youth charity, Dave McNicholl and Sarah Brennan, visited the Warrington retailer on Tuesday 5 May to accept the cheque.

The funds will support the delivery of Warrington Youth Zone’s programme, which includes educational workshops, sports sessions, mentoring and wellbeing support.

The organisation operates a purpose-built facility serving young people aged 7–19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, offering a range of activities across the week.

Fundraising activity at Bents included raffles, colleague challenges, the Bents Annual Ball, Festive Wednesdays and charity fun runs.

Warrington Youth Zone’s next fundraising events include a five-a-side football tournament on 29 May at Rylands FC and “One More Lap”, a 12-hour team relay event at Cheshire Polo Club on 27 September.
