Melcourt donates £2,830 to Greenfingers at GLEE

Melcourt Industries celebrated Floral Thursday at GLEE with the presentation of a £2,830 donation to Greenfingers Charity.

Throughout 2025, Melcourt’s technical and sales teams travelled the country giving talks to garden clubs and horticultural groups. Traditionally free of charge, these sessions invited voluntary donations this year, raising £1,415, which Melcourt then matched.

The presentation took place at GLEE with Greenfingers’ Director of Fundraising & Communications, Linda Petrons, in attendance.

“We’ve been delighted with the generosity of garden clubs who enjoy our peat-free growing talks,” said Nikki Burton, Melcourt. “It’s rewarding to share knowledge and even more so knowing the support goes directly to Greenfingers.”

Linda Petrons added: “We are so grateful to Melcourt and the many garden clubs who contributed. Their support helps us create magical gardens in children’s hospices—special spaces where children and families can play, grow, and remember.”
