Greenfingers launches first-ever Golf Day
Greenfingers Charity has announced its first-ever Golf Day, taking place at Staverton Park on Thursday, 15 April 2027, bringing golfers and businesses together to raise funds for magical gardens at children’s hospices across the UK.
Players can enter individually or in teams of two for a day of golf, friendly competition and fundraising. Every participant will help support children with life-limiting conditions, their families and carers.
Supporting a meaningful cause
The event offers an opportunity to enjoy time on the course with friends, colleagues and fellow supporters while raising vital funds for gardens that provide precious places to play, care, learn, grow and remember.
Linda Petrons, Director of Fundraising & Communications at Greenfingers Charity, said: “We’re delighted to be launching our first Greenfingers Golf Day and look forward to welcoming familiar faces and new supporters to Staverton Park. It promises to be a fantastic day, bringing people together for some friendly competition while supporting a cause close to all our hearts.

Alongside recruiting players, Greenfingers is inviting businesses and individuals to support the inaugural event through sponsorship, prize donations or other contributions.
Sponsorship offers businesses an opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to the charity’s work and connect with its supporters. Greenfingers welcomes enquiries from organisations interested in sponsorship packages and helping make the first Golf Day a success.
