Green-tech selects Prostate Cancer UK for 2026

Company: Green-tech

Green-tech, the UK’s leading supplier of landscaping materials, has announced Prostate Cancer UK as its chosen Charity of the Year for 2026, reinforcing its commitment to supporting meaningful causes.

Each year, a Green-tech team member nominates a charity to benefit from company-wide fundraising and awareness activities. For 2026, the nomination was made by Roger Aimes-King, Account Manager within the John Chambers Wildflower Seed team.

Roger selected Prostate Cancer UK due to a deeply personal connection, having lost his father to the disease 22 years ago. Prostate cancer remains the most common cancer in men in the UK, affecting thousands of families each year.

Prostate Cancer UK plays a vital role in funding world-class research, providing specialist support services and campaigning for earlier diagnosis and improved treatment outcomes, helping to prevent the disease from becoming life-changing or life-limiting.

Green-tech aims to raise more than £1,000 for the charity during 2026 through a range of fundraising events and initiatives, while also helping to raise awareness among colleagues, customers and the wider industry.

The announcement follows a successful 2025 charity year, during which Green-tech exceeded its fundraising target in support of St Leonard’s Hospice, demonstrating the strength of its ongoing commitment to community causes.
