Business as usual after fire at Cook’s Garden centre

Cook’s Garden Centre is open as normal after a fire on Friday afternoon destroyed a check out area and glasshouse, including a gold medal winning Chelsea flower show stand.

The company at Stourport thanked the fire service for their super quick response which kept damage and stock loss very minimal.

Nobody was hurt.  The fire was confined to an open day check out area and glasshouse which is now totally destroyed.

“The Worst part of the fire is that our gold medal winning Chelsea flower show stand has been totally destroyed it was a stand that had gained us at least 10 gold medals plus other awards. Looks like we will have to come up with a new one for next years shows,” said the company on social media.
