Timmermans makes it 59 for British Garden Centres UPDATED
British Garden Centres has announced the group’s 59th garden centre with the purchase of Timmermans Garden Centre of Nottingham. It will be renamed Woodborough Green.

Dear Rosalind Rest assured, we are passionate about plants - both house and garden. We are, like Timmermans, a family owned and led garden centre business. Our founders started the business many years ago striking conifer cuttings from their parents hedge. Today they lead the business very much from the front. We love the site and the team. We look forward to getting to know you and all the customers over the next few weeks. Very sad to hear that Timmermans has changed hands, we have been keen customers for very many years. I do hope the new owners look after the staff who are excelllent, also that the range and quality of plants on offer does not deteriorate. It has always been known for plants etc and not like others who concentrate more on furniture and clothing etc.
