The UK has an invasive species of Giant Hogweed that is currently spreading. The spread of this was formally getting recorded for the general public via the Environment Agency funded site PlantTracker.org. Unfortunately, funding cuts stopped the site from actively working with the public to record any further sightings. This is not in the publics best interest, as such WhatShed have decided to offer and fund a resource page for showing and recording any sightings the public might make.
