It has now been confirmed that Gardening Express owner, Chris Bonnett, has acquired his first bricks and mortar garden centre and called it Bonnetts Garden Village.

Ordered 10 April. No delivery. My order contains lupins which are currently in flower so the new ones (if they arrive) won't be much good this year. I have asked for a refund but no response. What i dont understand is why they are continuing to take orders if they cannot cope. There are updates on the website but am not convinced that the dispatches are happening. There have been recurrrent references to oldest orders being 10 April and these being ready for delivery so where are they? They insist they are not a scam and I dont believe they are but am not impressed. Very disappointed and will not use again.

Ordered £65 worth of plants 24 April, no plants, no communication, no refund despite requests. Absolute con artist. Continued to take orders for plants he was out of stock of which is just bad practice. Seriously, don't place any orders. I haven't been able to contact them except by a chat function which they had switched off. Disgraceful. Ann Currie

Ordered 3 plants 5 weeks ago. No delivery, no updates, no communication, no replies to emails or tickets. Non-existent customer service. Phone number also does not work now. Reviews on Trust Pilot etc etc etc suggest this is a scam company, holding onto people's money and not able to cancel orders.

No one is replying cant contact anyone not received my ordered 6th May . No tel number no e.mail address cant contact

1000 of negative reviews this year, G.E customers turning up to collect their refunds at the garden village, Has Chris bitten off more than he can chew? Maybe he should reply to let us know

Let's hope that his innovative ideas include providing plants that are as promised and having people you can actually contact / have a conversation with when you have a query or complaint - as you can't currently do that on his Gardening Express website.
