David Good, former director of Country Gardens, has died

David Good, has died at the age of 83.

He was a director of Country Gardens between 1991 and 1999 and before that worked with his brother Dudley Good at Beacon Garden centres, before it was bought by Country Gardens.

Good then operated under the name Dudley Good Associates.  He was also a shareholder at Country Homes and Gardens.

Unhampered by the fact that he was born with only one arm, Good was a keen motor racer and became the British Hill Climb Champion (BHCC) in 1961.
