We are delighted to announce that GIMA will be hosting a "Meet the Buyer" day with Longacres, the UK's largest independent Garden Centre.
This family owned group consists of four centres, with the flagship store in Bagshot Surrey which has been the highest turnover garden centre in the UK for 7 years. Four years ago Longacres Shepperton was acquired and last year Bybrook Barn in Ashford Kent was also added to the group. Opened in 2009, the Chobham branch of Longacres is a garden shop rather than a garden centre.

The event will take place on Thursday 30th November at a venue in or near to Bagshot.
Participants will be allocated a 20 minute appointment time with relevant buyers and the team of 4 buyers will be headed up on the day by Nigel Long.
A maximum of 2 people from each supplier company will be allowed and suppliers are urged to use the time available to concentrate on the features and benefits of the products they have to offer supported by cost price proposals.
This is a unique opportunity for potential new suppliers and as such, is sure to attract a big response. There will also be a limit to the number of people that can be accommodated on the day and the event will need to be carefully organised and planned.

To offset the cost of the day, there will be a charge of £95.00+VAT for GIMA members and £145+VAT for non-members. We look forward to receiving your nominated product categories and payment no later than Friday 17th November and we will be in contact again with further updates of the event.
