Privately owned international SME distribution business and leisure industry leader has an opportunity for an experienced West Midlands based Sales Representative to join our team. With a passion for selling into the garden industry, you will be a motivated self-starter with a willingness to perform above and beyond the norm.

Main responsibilities

  • Achieve targets for revenue, margin and sales growth
  • Increase market share in existing markets
  • Identify and maximise new business development opportunities within the area
  • Act at all times as a brand ambassador and role model for our business
  • Maintain and improve existing excellent customer relationships
  • Assist with customer and end user queries when necessary, and provide support for both the Sales Office and Credit department when dealing with customers
  • Provide support with trade shows within the UK

Essential

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrably high standard of customer service skills
  • Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
  • Good planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Commitment to self-development, evidenced by receipt of previous sales training
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • A full clean driving license
  • A good team player with excellent communication

Desirable

  • Proven track record in selling business-to-business
  • Well presented, with a calm professional manner
  • Confident and assertive, with the ability to gain the trust of the customer
  • Strong understanding of the garden furniture industry

Salary depending on experience; bonus scheme; company pension scheme; company car.
