Regional Sales Representative North East and West

Privately owned international SME distribution business and leisure industry leader has an opportunity for an experienced North East and West of England based sales representative to join our team. With a passion for selling into the garden industry, you will be a motivated self-starter with a willingness to go the extra mile.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales

  • Achieve targets for revenue, margin and sales growth
  • Increase market share in existing markets
  • Identify and maximise new business development opportunities within the area
  • Act at all times as a brand ambassador and role model for our business

Sales Administration

  • Maintain and improve existing excellent customer relationships within the region
  • Assist with customer and end user queries when necessary, and provide support for both the Customer Service and Credit departments when dealing with customers
  • Provide support with trade shows within the UK

Profile
The successful candidate for the Regional Sales Representative position is likely to have the following skills and experience:

Essential

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrably high standard of customer service skills
  • Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
  • Good planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Commitment to self-development, evidenced by receipt of previous sales training
  • A full clean driving license
  • A good team player with excellent communication

Desirable

  • Proven track record in selling business-to-business
  • Well presented, with a calm professional manner
  • Confident and assertive, with the ability to gain the trust of the customer
  • Strong understanding of the garden furniture industry
