Coordinate the production plan of plants grown across a 2-acre nursery. The nursery grows predominantly Hardy Ornamental Stock, across polytunnels, glass and outdoor space.

Manage the nursery team, while minimising production and labour costs and maintaining high quality standards.

Oversee the day-to-day nursery operations including:

• Organisation of workload.
• Potting and general plant care.
• Stock control.
• Crop protection.
• Monitoring pest control.
• Maintenance of nursery facilities and equipment.
• Inspect and clean plants ready for despatch.
• Assist in the general maintenance of the plant nursery.

• Coordinate the induction, training and coaching of the nursery team.
• Liaising with buying team and operations team for the supply of plants.
• Ensure the plant nursery meets all health and safety regulations.
• Manage the small logistics operation associated with the plant nursery.
