Here at Dobbies Garden Centres, we are looking for a Horticultural Manager who are passionate about making a difference and creating a unique customer experience. We expect our Horticultural Managers to be the very best, working closely with their General Manager setting the standard for our flagship department. They're inspirational leaders, customer champions and commercial innovators – and they make our Horticulture Departments the place to be for customers and colleagues alike.
With high expectations comes great responsibility. We believe our Horticultural Managers should be able to manage their departments like it was their own business. You will make the decisions that matter within the operation, taking responsibility for putting our customers first and delivering results. What's more you will be leading the team, keeping them motivated, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to create the best possible customer experience.
You will be a strong leader with proven experience of leading large teams within customer facing environments. You have the ability to meet and exceed targets, drive sales and create a great experience for your people and customers alike. You will have passion and enthusiasm for the brand coupled with great commercial awareness. You will be able to understand the diverse nature of our complex business and be able to use your experience to think on your feet.
