We are looking for a commercially astute and experienced Food retailer to manage our growing Farm Shop offering within our Garden Centres across the UK.

This is an exciting new role for Blue Diamond and the successful candidate will oversee 5 established farm shops and 7 food and drink departments across the Group with a turnover of around £4.5m per year.
You will have primary responsibility for ensuring our retail standards always project an aspirational ambience to our target AB1 customers. We work very closely with regional suppliers who provide a wide range of high quality fresh and ambient products and the successful candidate will ensure this message is appropriately reflected in the tone, look and feel of each farm shop and food hall.

You will be an experienced food retailer who is used to working with artisan and regionally sourced products with ability to drive profit through efficient operational practice, price and margin manipulation. You will be tuned into the needs and aspirations of AB1 target market customers and can easily adapt retailing standards as those needs change.

Ideally you will have experience of farm shop management at all levels, however more importantly you will understand what it takes to draw a distinction and maintain a clear point of difference between our approach and that of standard supermarket retailing.
