We are seeking to recruit a Furniture/Christmas Manager for our Stewarts Broomhill Garden Centre.
You will be responsible for managing the smooth running of these departments during their seasonality, including help choose the range for each season, merchandising, identify opportunities to increase sales, ensure display presentation, pricing and signage are inspirational and to Stewarts’ high standards, organise and manage stocktake, stock turnover, markdowns and wastage and deal with the hiring, managing and deploying of staff within these departments.
Applicants should possess excellent communication and people skills and enjoy working as part of a team, delivering a high level of customer service. Previous experience in a manager or supervisor role is essential as well as an interest in progressing within the business.
The job involves working an average of 39.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday and alternate weekends with a day off during the week.
