Harlow Carr on canvas

Don't miss A Year in the Garden, a collection of 12 paintings by Nel Whatmore, Harlow Carr's first year-long Artist in Residence.

Yorkshire artist Nel is creating a painting of the garden each month, charting the changing seasons and horticultural highlights.

Tempting treats from Bettys

Recharge your batteries with a cup of tea and delicious cake at Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms or Bettys Tea House in the heart of the garden.

Let us entertain you

Enjoy live big band music throughout the show, watch craftsmen from Acorn Woodcraft carve beautiful pieces from wood, or capture the moment and take a photo of your friends and family in a floral frame decorated with beautiful cut flowers.

Summer beauty in the garden

Around the garden, highlights include thousands of dolly-mixture candelabra primulas along the Streamside - one of the longest streamside gardens in the country.

Don’t miss the sights and scents of roses, lilies, wisteria and jasmine in the Scented Garden, or simply relax in a deckchair by the lakeside.
