Futurescape 2019

Date: 19th November 2019
Location: Sandown Park Racecourse, Portsmouth Road, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9AJ

The UK’s must-attend landscaping trade event, FutureScape, returns this November for its eighth season.  Adding new elements and giving airtime to new voices within its speaker programme this year, the flagship event will once again bring the landscaping community together on Tuesday 19 November 2019 from 9am-5pm.

Organisers and publishers of the leading landscape title Pro Landscaper Eljays44 Limited regularly bring the landscape industry together through their events, publications and collaborative projects.  The organisers have raised their game to help their landscape professional audience raise theirs in the face of increasing challenge.

“This eighth FutureScape introduces new aspects alongside the renowned seminar and live debate programme.” explains Jim Wilkinson, co-owner and Managing Director of FutureScape and Eljays44.  “Visitors and contributors have praised FutureScape as an event of fresh thinking; where the whole industry comes together in one place, on one day, to share and connect in an informal environment.” he continues.

As ever, the seminar programme is a powerful one, offering interest and discussion points in the realms of landscaping, design, maintenance and business development.  Covering themes including landscaping for a sustainable future, wellbeing at work, daring design, the “lionesses” of landscaping and attracting the next generation of talent, attendees will gain an important insight and the opportunity to question and comment in the interactive theatre at the heart of the show.

The seminar arena is encircled by a supplier showcase of over 200 companies – some familiar favourites looking to reinforce and make new connections; some first-time exhibitors enjoying the benefits of exposure to the vibrant and varied visitor profile across landscape construction, design, maintenance, supply and specification.

The intensive one-day event takes place at its now-established home at Sandown Park Racecourse and will provide fuel for fresh thinking to its 2500 expected visitors over the course of the day.

Visitors will rub shoulders with other fresh thinkers from start-ups, small and growing businesses to large organisations and practices all at different stages of development, all still hungry to learn.

Recognition will be bestowed on those who are continually raising their game or taking their first steps into the landscape spotlight, courtesy of the 30 under 30: The Next Generation and the small project BIG IMPACT awards.

Registration for the event is now open, free to attend for all with a vested interest in the landscape. From the self-employed landscaper to the team of landscape operatives; from the nursery grower to stone supplier; from the multi-disciplined, multi-site landscape franchise to nationwide and global industry leaders, garden designers & landscape architects, FutureScape is the forum to connect, challenge and collaborate for the continued creation of high-quality landscapes, a healthy and informed workforce and achievable profitable business growth.
